Choisya are native to the southern USA and most of Mexico. Choisya ternata Sundance is a very popular and widely grown, hardy, evergreen shrub that has been granted the RHS Award of Garden Merit. Clusters of beautiful white flowers with a truly delightful fragrance resembling the fragrance of Orange blossom are produced in spring and again in autumn. The attractive three lobed yellow, strongly aromatic leaves are an all year round attraction and are the main reason this plant is so popular. Easy to grow in full sun in most free draining soils. It makes a superb hedge and is very tolerant of pruning. This plant gives an 'exotic' effect and can be used in a mixed planting or as a stand alone specimen in the garden or can easily be grown in a pot or other container. Use a good quality compost. Ensure you feed regularly as a hungry plant is a poor performer. We recommend Osmoscote pro 12-14 month applied in the early spring. One application gives all the nutrients the plant requires for the whole year.
