Parthenocissus quinquefolia is a fast growing, deciduous, self clinging climber, native to the USA, Mexico, east Asia and the Himalays and has been growing in the Uk from around 1629! Very popular for its spectacular, vibrant, rich orange and crimson autumn colours and its ability to cover whatever it is planted against quickly with layers of attractive leaves.
