Nandina domestica Twilight - Heavenly Bamboo - Plant in 2 L Pot

Nandina orginate from China and Japan and is an unusual monotipic genus (only plant in it's genus) which is frequently referred to as a type of Bamboo. This is quite misleading as the plant has no relationship to bamboo, well, except the fact they are both plants! It is a member of the same family as Berberis. Nandina domestica Twilight features a variety of leaf colours on a fairly dense, evergreen plant. New growth, bronze and bright green, heavily variegated with white, emerges in spring with a sultry pink glow. As the temperatures drop in winter so the colours intensify. Twilight is a tough plant, tolerant of urban conditions and drought resistant. Unlike other heavenly bamboos, it is bushy and compact. They can be used in a mixed planting, as a central specimen plant or in a container. If planting in a pot or other container. Use a good quality, free draning , compost.
