Lavandula x Intermedia Grosso - Lavender - Plant in 2 L Pot

Introduced from the Mediterranean area in the 16th century, Lavender has become a well established, well known and well loved plant with many different varieties and cultivars. Lavandula x intermedia Grosso is a very robust plant and a prolific producer of mid blue flowers in summer. One of the most aromatic, it is widely grown for oil extraction. Grosso is particularly heat and humidity tolerant and does not die back as much in the winter. Easy to grow in most well drained soils, fertile or poor, in a sunny to light shade location.
